Funeral services for Beverly Darlene Foxworth, 65, of Hollandale will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8 at the Boone Chapel in Hollandale. She died Monday, March 4 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Burial will be in the Hollandale Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Darlene was born in Hollandale, MS the daughter of Anna Belle Pope Brown and Leek Benton Brown. She was a graduate of the first graduating class at Deer Creek High School. She was a member of Darlove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Foxworth; five brothers, David K. Brown, Charles Kirby Brown, Richard Brown, William “Bill” F. Brown and Donald Phillip Brown; sister, Mary Virginia Brown; and sister-in-law, Betty Joyce Brown.
She is survived by a sister, Shirley Ann Palmer (Bobby) of Florence, MS; two brothers, Joel Brown (Thelma) of Hollandale and Walter Brown of Clinton; three sister-in-laws, Kathryn Brown, Jo Ann Kuhn Brown and Janice Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
