Funeral services for Billie Myers Godwin, 87, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Magnolia Gardens in Greenville. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Elizabeth, MS and graduated from E.E. Bass High School in Greenville. Billie made her home in Greenville where she raised her children and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was very active in several community clubs and Bible studies.
She is survived by three sons, Mark Potter (Rhonda) of Leland, Chris Potter (Cindy) of Trail Lake and Allen Potter (Cindy) of Indianola; step-son, Martin Myers; six grandchildren, Jack Potter, Mary Alice Potter Holloway, Dan Williams, Matt Williams, Scott Potter and Wayne Potter and ten great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Demetria Morris, her caregiver, and the faculty and staff of Magnolia Gardens.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
