Billy Dale McClendon died on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home in Leland. He was born on July 4, 1951 to Agnes and Dale McClendon.
Billy and his dad owned McClendon Painting, where he worked most of his life. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, and doing remodeling projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Anissa Carrie.
He is survived by his children, Xan McClendon (Sissy), Kimberly McClendon, Charity McClendon, Jeff McClendon; cherished companion, Becky Lucas; brother, John McClendon; sister, Judy Watkins; 11 grandchildren, Shambri, Sheridan, Jeffrey, Laney, Trish, Savannah, Lexxi, Courtney, Layla, Dakota, and Molly; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will have a celebration of life in the coming months. The family would like to thank Delta Health Hospice for the care given to Billy.
