Funeral services for Brenda Jean Abdo, 64, of Greenville will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at First United Methodist Church. She died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Abdo was a native of Missouri moving to Greenville where she graduated from Greenville High School. In 1968 she married James R. Abdo. Mrs. Abdo was a secretary for many years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. W. and Mary Rose Jackson, grandmother, Rosa Brister and brother, Robert Paul Brackin. She is survived by her husband, James R. Abdo, Sr. of Greenville, daughter, Lindy A. Ware (David) of Cleveland, son, James R. Abdo, Jr. (Tiffany) of Vicksburg, sister, Debbie B. Alred of Nettleton, 2 brothers, Jimmy Jackson of Leland and Ricky Brackin of Vaiden and 2 grandchildren, Brandon Ware of Cleveland and Mia Brooke Abdo of Vicksburg.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville
