Funeral services for Carolyn Caraway Clements, 82 of Greenville, Mississippi will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Greenville. Carolyn passed away, on Monday, September 4, 2023, at her residence at the Pinnacle of Greenville. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born on November 5, 1940, in Greenville, Mississippi. She graduated from Greenville High School and attended Millsaps College.
Carolyn enjoyed being a member of Washington School PTA and the Coterie Club of Greenville. She was a long-time Community Bible Study Leader and taught 3rd grade Sunday school at First Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Allen Clements, by her second husband John Dudley Hicks, and her parents, Stanford O. and Mabel Caraway.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Liz) Clements; daughter Valerie (Ted) Smith; grandchildren, Chaille and Taylor Munn, Joshua Smith, Matthew Clements, Taylor and Read Kelly, and J. C. and Ellen Clements; great-grandchildren, Maddie Smith, Lilah and Robert Kelly, and Stuart and Betsy Munn and her brother Charles Frank Caraway.
