Graveside services for Carolyn Cox Sullivan, 85, of Brandon will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Indianola City Cemetery. She passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 with her family by her side. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola.
Carolyn was born in Grenada, MS on September 15, 1935. She grew up in Indianola, MS before making her home in Greenville, MS. In 2017 Carolyn moved to Brandon, MS to be close to her family.
Carolyn was a teacher and homemaker. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Rudy (Connie), grandson Brandon Sullivan, and host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rudolph Sullivan, father James M. Cox, mother Christine G. Cox and brother James M. Cox II.
