Funeral Mass for Carolyn Fava Rocconi,100, of Greenville, MS, will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 31, 2023, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church under the direction of Boone Funeral Home of Greenville. She passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at The Pinnacle of Greenville.
Carolyn was a native of Bolivar County, MS. She married her husband, Richard, in 1941. They made their home in Cleveland, MS before settling in Round Lake, MS, where they owned and operated the Round Lake Store for 33 years. They moved to Greenville after retiring in 1979, where she remained after the death of her beloved husband in 1989. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, a sister, and her husband of 48 years. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Rocconi Whittington (Donald – deceased) and Linda Rocconi Portera (Johnny), 5 grandchildren Wendy (Mike), Rita (Rob), Sam (Michelle), Matt (Lucille), and Lucas (Meridith), and 7 great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Allison, Ella Kate, Rowan, Alex, and Holland and Trey.
There will be a visitation at the church before the services from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
