Charlie peacefully departed this earth on Friday December 16 with the help of hospice services in Mechanicsville, VA. Services will be officiated by Paul Henry, a long-time family friend and under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Charlie was born on March 4, 1932 and raised in Greenville, MS and was a resident of Greenville his entire life until moving to the Greater Richmond, VA area to be near his daughter and her family in 2010. He attended Greenville High School and graduated in the class of 1952. He married his wife, Jamie Pippin Victor, on June 4, 1961 and worked at McMillian Supply Company on Walnut Street as the Supply Manager for 33 years. He had a true love of Greenville, especially the levee. He would “ride the levee” and eat his lunch on the levee every day of his working career. He owned rental property on Central street for many years and would be found working tirelessly to maintain these properties when he was not working at McMillian. He would be found “tinkering” in his workshop which included welding, carpentry or other wood working, and mechanical repairs. He was very talented with any work that involved using his hands. He had a love for motorcycles and antique cars, especially the Model A and Model T Ford.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father, James Victor, his mother, Georgia Danna Victor, his older brother, James Victor, and his twin brother, Paul Victor. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jamie Pippin Victor of Greenville, MS (currently living in Richmond, VA), his daughter, Vivian Victor Gallavan and her husband, Brian of Glen Allen, VA, and three grandchildren, Brett (13), Gavin (10), and Victoria (7).
