Clara Faye Lenhart Keith

A celebration of life for Clara Faye Lenhart Keith, 95, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2 at Hollandale Baptist Church. She went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 28. Burial will be in Hollandale City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland. 

Clara Faye was born on July 2, 1922 in Catchings, Mississippi and grew up in the Murphy community. She graduated from Hollandale Schools and attended Hillman College in Clinton, Mississippi. She married Thomas Garvin Keith on July 5, 1942. They made their home in Hollandale after Thomas served his country. Clara Faye and Thomas served the Hollandale community with their successful businesses for many years. 

Clara Faye was a faithful member of Hollandale Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and loved her church family. There was no better example of a servant’s heart by the way she served Christ through others. Mama Faye always made sure to send her love to her great-grandchildren through a card for each holiday. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents, Dora and Donald Lenhart; and sister, Doris Jean Wilson. 

Clara Faye is survived by her children, Linda Keith Franks (Joe) and Thomas D. Keith (Lorraine); grandchildren, Laura Keith Leuthold (Lorin), Brian Keith Franks (Jenny), Kara Keith Donley (Don); and great grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Gavin, Luke, Raigin, and Abby. 

Pallbearers will be Joe Curtis Sims, Howard Christian, Billy Ray Harris, Larry Dunaway, Joe Ray and Joe Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jimmy Hollingsworth, Charles Holmes, Dr. John Estes, and Joe Heranney. 

There will be a visitation one hour prior to the services at the church. Brother Dennis Salley will officiate the services. Memorials will be welcomed by flowers or contributions to The Baptist Children’s Village, 114 Marketridge Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
