Graveside services for Clara Sue George (Sue), 79, of Munford, TN will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Indianola City Cemetery. She passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday night August 10, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola.
She lived with her niece Leslie Fair, Leslie’s husband Timmy and her great nephew Brandon. Sue was born May 8th, 1943 in Shaw, MS. She was a retiree of Baxter Laboratories in Memphis Tennessee. Sue ran track in high school and loved football and softball. She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger.
Sue leaves behind her brother James L. George and his wife Dorothy A. George of Memphis TN, sister Mary A. George of San Antonio, TX, 7 nieces and nephews and a multitude of great and great great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a very special friend of more than 30 years Ms. Kaye Long. Sue is now reunited with her Lord and Savior, her father Leslie O. George, mother Mary L. George, brother Robert E. George and many more. Sue will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
