Buddy was born on May 26th 1958, in Leland Mississippi. He was the oldest of four children born to Clarence and Martha Wren. Buddy loved growing up surrounded by his three brothers; Ronald Ritter, Billy Therrell Jr., Jeff Therrell and his stepfather, Billy Therrell Sr. whom he loved very much. Buddy and Ron stayed in mischief, once sneaking out to Ship Island getting stuck, while Billy and Jeff stayed home and out of trouble. Buddy loved adventure and life. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and it showed in everything he did. He also loved his Harley and rode it everywhere. In 1975 he married the love of his life Sheila Smith, and they started their own chapter in life, raising four boys and enjoying and celebrating a life filled with love, adventure, and memories. Buddy was diagnosed with lung cancer this past year but spent his last moments spending quality time with his wife and four boys, Little Buddy, Chris, Donnie, and Lonnie and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed greatly, and it will be hard to go on without him.  We know he is happy to be reunited with his loved ones in Heaven.  He was preceded in death by Clarence Vernon Wren Sr., Martha Glen Price, and Billy Therrell Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Wren of Greenville MS; sons, Clarence Wren III, Chris Wren, and Lonnie Wren, all of Greenville, and Donnie Wren of Athens AL; brothers, Ron Ritter of Greenville and Billy Therrell Jr. and Jeff Therrell, both of Wichita KS; and 18 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held one hour before services at the church on Friday.
