Funeral services for Claudia Stevens Cage, 90, of Hollandale will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Hollandale Baptist Church. She passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in the Hollandale City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Mrs. Cage was born August 19, 1929 in Washington County the daughter of Earl Raymond and Jimmie Bennett Stevens. She graduated from Hollandale High School in 1947. She was employed at Twin County Electric Power Association, Stacy Kellum Pan Am Oil Company, Mississippi Power and Light Company and Washington County Library in Greenville.
Mrs. Cage was a lifelong member of Hollandale Baptist Church, a devout Christian lady who loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Cage was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William (Bill) Sanders Cage and brothers, Charles Raymond Stevens and Earl Stevens, Jr.. She is survived by a son, Charles (Chuck) Cage (Dede) of Brandon; four grandchildren, Charles (Chase) Cage, Rebecca (Jonathan) Sandford of Brandon, Ashley (Wes) Longwitz of Ellisville, MS and Dabbs (Scott) Smith of Flowood, MS; five great grandchildren, Cage Walton Smith, Jon Christian Sanford, John Wesley Longwitz, Eden Scott Smith and Samuel Asher Longwitz.; a sister, Ann Spradlin of Hollandale and six nieces and nephews, Pat Horton (Jim), Linda Manuel (Keith), Steve Spradlin (Debbie), Duana Huffstutter (John), Dwayne Stevens, and Stephanie McWhorter; and many great nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 3:00-4:00 p.m Sunday at the church.
