Funeral Services for Clifton Louis Daniels, 77, of Glen Allan, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Lake Washington First Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy McLendon officiating. He passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at home with family. Burial will follow at County Line Cemetery, Glen Allan under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born December 1, 1942 in Indianola, to Louis and Lily Mae Daniels. He graduated high school from Glen Allan High School in 1961. He moved to Downey, California where he worked for Goodyear Tire Company. In 1970 he moved his family to Greenville, MS, where he was the owner of Daniels Welding & Sheet Metal Shop. In 1980 he moved his family to Wills Point, TX where he was known for numerous accomplishments. Clifton moved back to his hometown of Glen Allan, MS in June of 2016.
Clifton was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Greenville, MS Lodge and a Shriner with the Wahoabi Temple. Clifton is also a member of the Masonic Lodge #422 in Wills Point, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lily Mae Daniels, Sisters Jeaneane McBride; and sister Nancy Simpson.
Clifton is survived by sister Carolyn Ross of Glen Allan; his four children Clifton Daniels, Jr., Robert Daniels, both of Wills Point, TX and John Daniels of Gun Barrel, TX and Tamara Daniels of Wills Point,TX and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
There will be a visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the church on Saturday.
