Funeral services for Cynthia “Cindy” Allen Burke, of Greenville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. She died at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home.
Cindy was born the daughter of Charles and Mary Allen on March 11, 1961 in Leland, MS. She attended Greenville public schools and earned a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management. She loved caring for the elderly, housekeeping, and cooking. She was a Christian and loved worshipping the Lord.
She is survived by a daughter, Shannon Allen; her father, Charles Allen; a sister, Terri Chadwick; 3 brothers, Jimmy Allen, John Allen, and Michael Allen; and 3 grandchildren, Lane Chandler, Dylan Chandler, and Kaylee Chandler.
A visitation will be held one hour before services at Boone Funeral Home on Saturday.
