Funeral services for Dale Donald Guess, 73, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Guess was born in Durant, MS moving to Greenville at an early age where he attended the public schools. On June 30, 1967 he married Shirley Davis. He was employed at Greenville Mills until later working for Meban Packaging Company, retiring due to ill health. Mr. Guess had a love for hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Guess; 2 daughters, Janice Waranch (Mike) and Jacalyn Huddleston (David); son, Jimmy Dale Guess (Angela); eight grandchildren, Ashley Wood, David Huddleston, Jr., Kenneth Huddleston, Kris Waranch, Allison Waranch, Casey Guess, Corey Guess and Adalyn Guess; and five great grandchildren, Melony Wood, Hayden Wood, Emily Huddleston, Lucas Huddleston and Brynn Huddleston.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
