Funeral services for Dale McClendon, 85, retired Paint Contractor, formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Friday in Spring, TX. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born May 22, 1933 in Mendenhall, MS, the son of Henry McClendon and Bennie Canoy McClendon.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Agnes; his parents; and one sister Beulah Wylie.
He is survived by his children, Billy McClendon of Greenville, Judy (Grant) Watkins of Dothan, AL, and John McClendon of Spring, TX; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Loree Ray.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
