Darrell Drew Rexrode

Funeral services for Darrell “DREW” Rexrode, 21, of Greenville, MS are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church.  He went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 8, 2019.  Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
 
He was born in Greenville on November 8, 1998 to Darrell and Lisa Rexrode. Drew loved Ole Miss, Chicago Cubs, Ping Pong, Tennis, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Golf and Bowling. Most of all, Drew loved his family and his friends.  If you knew him, you loved him.  He had a smile that would light up a room.  He knew how to make people laugh without even trying.  He always wanted to live life to the fullest and inspired others to do the same.
 
Drew was the youngest of three brothers.  He graduated from Deer Creek Academy in 2017.  Where at Deer Creek he received multiple awards for his athletic ability, and many loved him for his leadership skills.  Drew later attended Hinds Community College on a full tennis scholarship.  While there he and his loved teammates competed in the National Championship.  He was currently a junior at Delta State University, Cleveland, MS.  While at Delta State he pledged Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
He is survived by his parents Darrell and Lisa Rexrode, of Greenville Mississippi.  He is also survived by his two big brothers, Chris (Katie) Boykin and Jamie (Ashley) Lemonis.  He is survived by his maternal grandparents William (Pinkey) and Mary Winters, of Greenville; paternal grandparents Rickie and Dianne Rexrode, of Hollandale; and great grandparent, Keith Rexrode.
 
He is also survived by the nephews and nieces that he loved; Riley, Mary, Gabe, Briggs, River.  He is survived by his Uncle Rodney Rexrode (Kelli), Aunt Laura (Kenny Bullock), Aunt Kim Purvis, Aunt Amanda Boozer (Casey) and Aunt Susan Box.  He survived by so many cousins, many which were like his brothers and sisters.  Peyton, Trevor, Ethan, Spencer, Bubba, Cathy, Hayden, Parker, Elizabeth, Logan, Gavin, Lindsay, Austin, Jessica, Jenny, Jayce, Brandon and Taylor.
 
He was also survived by so many other family friends that he loved so much.  He was so dedicated to friends and family and his entire heart was focused on the ones he loved.
 
There is a visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
