Funeral services for Darrell James Forman, 43, of Benoit will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Greenville. He died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday at Natchez City Cemetery, Natchez, MS.
Darrell was born in Natchez, MS where he graduated from high school. He then went to Mississippi State University before transferring to Delta State University where he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In August 1995 he married Terrell Turner and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his discharge in 1999 they made their home in Greenville where he was employed with Dawkins Marketing Service. Darrell was a member of First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for 15 years and was a deacon. He was past President of the Washington School Board of Directors and had also served as PTO chairman. Darrell was known as a leader his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Terrell Turner Forman of Benoit; son, Brett Forman of Benoit; 2 daughters, Kathleen Forman and Meredith Forman both of Benoit; parents, E. J. and Lynnda Forman of Natchez; brother, Randy Forman of Natchez; grandmother, Ruby Caldwell of Houston, TX; and an aunt and uncle, Rhonda and John Kelly Orso of Houston, TX.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Greenville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 407 Main Street, Greenville, MS 38701 or to Washington School, 1605 E. Reed Road, Greenville, MS 38703
