Davis never met a stranger, going out of his way to help anyone who needed it.  He loved the Leland Rotary Club and was Secretary for many years.  He served many terms also as Assistant Governor and was a Deputy Assistant Governor this past year.  He had a servant’s heart and a love for people.

He left to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Sharon Glover Clark; daughters, Amanda Claire Scharoeng (Chuck) of Oakland, Maryland and Lucy Carole Clark of Alexandria, Virginia; brothers, William Walter Clark, Jr. (Rosemary) of Jackson, MS and Allen Whitman Clark II (Laura) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rotary Foundation, Fuller Center for Housing, ARRF Facility or First Baptist Church, Leland.
