Funeral services for Deborah C. Branning, 69, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home. Burial will be in Hollandale Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Satartia, MS on April 25, 1951 the daughter of W. A. Branning and Doris Laird. At an early age she moved to Greenville where she graduated from Greenville High School. She received her nursing degree from Mississippi Delta Community College and worked for Delta Regional Medical Center as Director of the ER. She retired from DRMC after 25 years of service. Deborah loved to read and loved FOX News. She was very family oriented and was Aunt Debbie to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Branning. She is survived by two sisters, Vicky Turnage (Danny) of Leland and Lynda Naron (B.A.) of Grenada; and three brothers, William Branning (Sharon) of Harrison, AR, Roger Branning (Kaye) of Pensacola, FL and Dennis Branning (Shannon) of Bogue Chitto, MS.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan Purse through Glendale Baptist Church, 284 St. Christopher Road, Leland, MS 38756.
