Funeral services for Dennis Carl Thomas, 62, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Wednesday, September 16 at his home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Greenville graduating from Greenville High School. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era. He returned to Greenville after his discharge from the service where he began working at Hager Hinge Company. He loved life, music and his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Crowley Thomas, daughter, Laurie Thomas, and his parents, George and Nadine Thomas. He is survived by a daughter, Heather Thomas of Greenville; a brother, Steve Thomas of Archdale, NC; 2 grandchildren, Thomas Manus and Ally Mae Manus both of Greenville and by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, September 18 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
