Funeral services for Doris Faye Robertson, 85, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She met the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Delta Health-The Medical Center due to respiratory complications. Burial will be at Beulah Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Doris was born on August 8, 1938 in Benoit, MS where she attended Benoit School. She worked at Blue and Gold Food Store in Benoit, Morrison’s Cafeteria in the Greenville Mall, Demco and Hagar Hinge, both in Greenville.
Doris loved sewing, working jigsaw puzzles, and gardening. She loved the outdoors and planting roses. She had a kind soul and would do anything for anybody. No was not in her vocabulary.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bailey Robertson, mother Edna Robertson, sister, Janie Ford, and brother-in-law, Allan Ford.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Robertson, niece, Donna Ford, nephew, Michael Ford (Jenny), a great-niece, Nataleigh Ford, and a great-nephew, Brent Ford.
