Graveside services for Doris Hood Roberson Purifoy, 70, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. She died on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Doris was born in Cleveland, MS where she received her education. She moved to Greenville at an early age. In 1974 she married Charley Roberson and he preceded her in death in 2014. She worked for many years as a housekeeper. In 2022 she married Steve Purifoy.
Doris is survived by her husband, Steve Purifoy; two daughters, Kim Flores-Olvera (Max) and Christy Flores-Olvera (Enrique); six sisters, Annie Hicks, Louise Edney, Dorothy Robinson, Pat Corley, Betty Jean Ellis and Betty Jane Duluich; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
