Doris Reinders Fisher

A Celebration of Life Mass for Doris Reinders Fisher will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville. Doris passed away peacefully at her home in Greenville, South Carolina surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 1, 2016. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. 

Doris was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 19th, 1927 to Henry and Eleanor Reinders. She was married to the love of her life for 67 years, and will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family! 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eleanor Reinders, her twin sister, Delores Reinders, and sister, Elaine Slavik, and two children, Robert Fisher and Susie Fisher Archer. 

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Warren Fisher of Greenville, South Carolina; her sister, Dorothy Reinders Richter of Milwaukee Wisconsin; her two sons, Thomas “Tommy” Fisher and his wife, Lynn of Tampa, Florida and Larry Fisher and his wife Jane of Greenville, South Carolina; her son-in-law, George Archer of Greenville, South Carolina; her nine grandchildren, Jennifer Fisher Harbour, Susan Archer Massingill, Robert Fisher, Katherine Archer Tucker, Courtney Fisher Cook, Elizabeth Fisher Nguyen, Brian Fisher, Christopher Fisher and Emily Fisher; and her ten special great grandchildren, James and Lauren Harbour, George and Eleanor Massingill, Katherine and Charlotte Cook, Reynolds, Collins and Hunter Nguyen, and Archer Tucker. 

Visitation will be held one hour before service time Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Greenville.
