Funeral services for Earline Davenport, 85, of Greenville will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at her home. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Davenport was born in Shaw and grew up in Isola. She moved to Greenville in 1954.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Hattie Upchurch, her husband, George Davenport, sons, Dennis and Larry Davenport; brothers, Elmer and Elvin Upchurch and sisters, Francis Sims and Mavis Bramlett.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Davenport of Greenville; 5 grandchildren, Dee Davenport (Mary), Carolyn Mills (Ty), Adam Davenport, Paige Davenport and Sandy Ledger (Frederick) and by 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
