Graveside services for Edward Earl Ellison, 80, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m, Thursday, June 22 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. He died Monday, June 19 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Ellison was born in Shaw, MS where he attended school. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and after his discharge he made his home in Greenville. He was a Towboat Pilot retiring after 40 years.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Joann Friddle, Jayne Blount and Norma Blasingame. He is survived by a brother, Kenny Ellison (Teresa) of Greenville and a sister, Faye Catt of Vicksburg.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at Boone Funeral Home.
