Graveside services for Edwynne Wilsford Joiner Love, 83, of Little Rock, AR and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Greenville Cemetery. She passed away on the morning of March 10, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Edwynne was born in 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from Clarksdale High School and went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi where she was elected Campus Favorite. She was also an active member and President of Chi Omega Sorority. Edwynne loved her time with the ladies of Chi Omega and continued to serve as an advisor for many years.
In 1962, she married Robert Taylor Love, Jr. In Greenville, she was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and also attended the First Presbyterian Church. Edwynne was also on the committee for the creation of the Hodding Carter Memorial YMCA. If you didn’t find her at the YMCA exercising, you may have found her on the golf course, watching her children’s sporting events, volunteering around town or listening to her favorite singer, Elvis.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Love, Jr.; her sons Rob Love (Casey), Ed Love (Mindy), Walker Love (Adrian), her daughter LeNoir Love (Avery) and eight grandchildren.
