Funeral service for Eileen Waldon Kelley, 84 of Greenville, MS will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She passed away on August 27, 2023, while at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN from complications from a brain injury. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was a born-again Christian and loved her Sunday School class, the Lois Ladies, at Greenville First Baptist. She loved gardening and her flowers. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from Kroger Company with over 39 years of service.
Eileen is survived by her husband Bob Kelley; daughter Felecia Donald (Donnie) of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Parker Donald, Madison Wisdom (Ross), and Spencer Donald; great-grandchildren, Brooks Jones and Ronnie Wisdom; brother-in-law Jerry Horton,3 nieces and two stepsons, Bill Kelley and Carolyn of Hamburg, AR and Tony Kelley of Watauga, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Tommie Lee Waldon and Daisy Newsom. Her sisters, Joyce Pritchet (Alfred), Bonnie Horton, Margret LaFon (Ronald),
Eileen was born on February 26, 1939, in Hollandale, MS. She graduated from Hollandale High School in 1957.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Matt Alexander will be officiating.
