Graveside services for Elizabeth “Sis” Beard Brock, 94, of Kokomo, IN and formerly of Indianola will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Indianola City Cemetery. She died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at The Legacy at Waterford Place, Kokomo, IN.
She was born on February 12, 1921 in Greenville to John C. Beard and Gladys I. McKinney Beard. On December 15, 1945 she married Robert P. Brock in Indianola. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University.
She was preceded in death by her husband on October 31, 2005, by her parents, and two brothers, Dr. John C. Beard and Vernon G. Beard.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Hardacre (Paul) of Kokomo, IN; son, Mac Brock (Gail) of Klamath Falls, OR; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
