Elizabeth “Beth” Abel Jones, 67, of Greenville passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020. At this time there will be no service due to Covid. Boone Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on June 11, 1953 to Claude and Dollie Norwood Jones. Beth was part of the first graduating class at Greenville Christian School and was a graduate of Delta State University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She worked as a bookkeeper at Haley Marine Gears until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Steve Jones. She is survived by daughter, Alexis Payne (Clint); son, Jason Jones; stepdaughter, Lisa Woodward (Andrew); stepson, Jeff Jones; and 4 grandchildren, Elijah, Julian, Gregory and Isabella.
