Funeral Mass for Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Oltremari, 73, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She died Thursday, November 30 in Houston, TX. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School and earned a business degree from St. Catherine of Siena College in Memphis, TN. For many years she worked for Matt Virden-Architect and was also an administrative assistant at the Delta Democrat Times. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, was active in Girl Scouts, and loved birds, especially hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Elizabeth McCoy, and her daughter, Mary Elizabeth “Mayer” Oltremari.
She is survived by a son, John Raymond Oltremari, Jr. of Houston, TX; a sister, Mary Ann Barber of Greenville; and two brothers, Jimmy J. McCoy (Barbara) of Houston, TX, and her twin, Billy McCoy (Sandra) of Petal, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 4:30-6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St.Joseph Catholic Church Restoration Fund, P. O. Box 1220, Greenville, MS 38702.
