Elizabeth “Libby” J. Kile Moore

Funeral services for Elizabeth “Libby” J. Kile Moore, 70, of Purvis and formerly of Greenville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She was called home while she was surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Burial will follow at Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home.

Libby was born on August 31, 1952 in Oak Hill, WV. She later married the love of her life, Dale Kile Sr. and together they had four wonderful children that they raised together in Greenville, MS. She had the luxury of having a second love, Joe Michael Moore of whom she was married to but also lost in 2000. Libby was a hard worker. She started at an early age, working for Uncle Ben’s Factory in Greenville to provide for her family. She later retired from BCH Bargain Center in Collins. She loved her family and wanted to spend every opportunity she could with them. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were what she adored the most. Libby also had a caring heart which allowed her to open her home to her brother, Herbert (Herby) where she was able to find joy and comfort having him with her. Her love for others will never be forgotten, she found great joy in cooking for others and taking care of them in times of need or just because she was thinking of them.

Libby is preceded in death by both spouses, Edgar Dale Kile Sr. And Joe Michael Moore; and her parents Ruby
and Arnold Cantley. She is survived by her children Angie (Wade) Young of West Monroe, LA, Malina (Everett) Carpenter of Boyle, MS, Shannon (Jamie) Worbington of Purvis, MS, and Dale (Paula) Kile of Coldwater, MS;
grandchildren, Brad (Raven), Brittney (Kennie), Kylie, Elizabeth (Trey), Allissa, Alex, Kaleb (Dana), Courtney,
Josh (Arden), Jordan, Caleb, Macy, Ethan; great grandchildren Chevi, Victoria, Olivia, Alyssa, Kestin,
Graycen, Jaelyn; and a host of extended children and grandchildren, as well as 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation is one hour before services on Monday at Boone Funeral Home.
