Elizabeth (Lizzy) Lynn Baker passed away in her home on January 18, 2024 at the age of 67. She was born on February 15, 1956 in Mississippi.
Lizzy was a person of remarkable organization and order. Her meticulous nature and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of her life. Whether it was “putting herself together”, maintaining a tidy home, or helping her friends and family organize their homes, she approached everything with precision and care.
In addition to her detail-oriented nature, Lizzy will be remembered for the countless moments of joy and laughter she shared with her family. She may be gone, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Lizzy is survived by her husband, Leroy Baker; children, Lisa (Vincent) Danner, Brandy (Mark) Henderson, and Steven (Roxie) McCollum; step-daughter Kelly (Scotty) Lanford; grandchildren, Alyssa McCollum, Courtnee Ziegler, Shelby Carmichael, Adrienne Carmichael, Coty Henderson, Mark Henderson, Brandon McCollum, Dakota McCollum, Xaden McCollum, Michael Moore, Nicole Pareti, Whitney (Benjamin) Lambert, Amber (Jeremy) Yates, and Casey (Robert) Crocker; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael “Bubba” Thompson and sister, Evelyn (Joe) Smutzer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna Merritt and Book Bailey; Sister, Kathy Hendon; and grandson, Logan Irvin.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Lynn Baker of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial services will follow at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
