Funeral services for Elizabeth Smith Grimes, 81, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Saturday, March 26, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Grimes never met a stranger and loved her family and loved helping others. She was an avid bingo player.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy and Regina Smith, sisters, Wilma Denley, Daisy Ingram, Polly Denley and brothers, Owen “Toad” Smith and Wayne Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Nan Roberson (Johnny); 4 sons, Tony Tillman, Danny Tillman, Robert Tillman (Tabitha) and Joseph Grimes (Brandy); a special niece, Lizzie Denley; brother, Chester Smith (Shirley Ann); sister, Jessie Rae Kendall; 9 grandchildren, Sabrina Wells, William Wells, Hannah Roberson, Alexis Tillman, Robert Tillman, Mary Katherine Tillman, Brittany Tillman, Issac Grimes and Piper Grimes; 5 great grandchildren, Lacy Davis, Christopher Davis, Joslyn Tillman, Blakelee Tillman and Maverick Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
