Memorial services for Ernest Bernard (Bubba) Buehler, IV, 63 will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church chapel, Greenville. He passed away at his home on October 14, 2014. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born September 4, 1951 in Greenville, MS to “Bill” Buehler and Corrine H. Buehler. Bubba was brother to four sisters. He married Patricia “Pat” McMurry of Greenville in 1978. Bubba was an avid hunter and horseman. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his large extended family and the company of friends. He knew many people in the Delta and shared stories readily. Bubba graduated from Greenville High School in 1969 and attended the University of Mississippi, where he received a B.A. in Liberal Arts and was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was employed in outside sales for most of his career.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest “Bill” Buehler, III and aunt, Betty Henderson Nelson. He is survived by his wife, Patricia McMurry Buehler of Greenville; 2 daughters, Edith Buehler Fava (Drew) of Greenville and Alice Buehler Parker (Price ) of Sunflower, mother, Corinne Hood Buehler of Greenville; 4 sisters, Beverly Buehler Johnston (Bert) of Drayden, MD, Carolyn Buehler Moore (Emmett) of Austin, TX, Sara Buehler Walker (Chuck) of Deep River, CT and Martha Buehler Fiest (Andy) of Richardson, TX; and a granddaughter, Marley Price Parker of Sunflower.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the chapel at First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital or First Baptist Church Greenville, Renovation Fund.
