Euna Nell Smith Hisaw was granted her angel wings on December 13, 2020 at the age of 77. Her final days were spent at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.
She was born to Robert and Leva Dell Smith on November 13, 1943 in Crystal Springs. She graduated High School in 1961 at Crystal Springs High School. On June 27, 1964 she married the love of her life, Herbert Charles Hisaw. Together they had two children; Chuck and Tracy.
Nell was a caring Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, painting, gardening, and shopping. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, she loved all the decorations and lights.
Nell is survived by her son, Chuck; daughter, Tracy Cooper and son-in-law, Ben Cooper; grandchildren, Chasity and Ashlyn Cooper, Alex Parker (Lance), Cody Hisaw, Elaina Hisaw and Madeline Hisaw; great granddaughter, Delta Grace Parker; sisters, Sue Thornton (Carl), Donnia Tierce (Billy), Karen Curtis (Harold) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Herbert Hisaw in 2019, her parents, Robert and Leva Dell Smith and brother, William Smith.
A memorial service will be held at New Zion Baptist Church in Crystal Springs on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
