Evelyn was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was the longest living member. She loved the Lord and her church family.
Evelyn had a love for gardening, cooking, sewing, flowers, and most of all her family. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in any activity, but most of all she loved watching them participate in all of their sporting events. She also loved going back to her home in Wartburg, TN to visit and spend time with her family and friends.
Evelyn always had a smile on her face and a happy attitude that was contagious. She was always willing to share anything she had and help anyone in need. She was a great inspiration to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
