Faye S. Jackson

Graveside services for Faye S. Jackson, 85, of Greenville will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 at Greenville Cemetery.  She died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at her home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mrs. Jackson was born May 10, 1928 to Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Sudduth of Tuscaloosa County, AL.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served on many church boards and committees.  She was also in the Methodist Womens Society.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved her church family and all her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mayo Evans Jackson, daughter, Jahala Jackson Black, son-in-law, Donald E. Black; 3 brothers, James Sudduth, Robert Winston Sudduth and Wayne Sudduth; and 2 sisters, Myrtle Marable and Dean Harkey.

She is survived by her son, Evans Crosby “Jack” Jackson of Greenville; sister, Bobbie Jean Ritchie of La Grange, GA; grandson, Donald Gwain Black of  Brandon; and great grandson, Brayden Gwain Black of Brandon.

Dr. Park Neff will officiate the services. Memorials may be made to Trinity Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
