Funeral services for Frances Commander Tabb, 67, of West and formerly of Indianola were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2013 at Boone-Card Funeral Home. She died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Madison River Oaks in Canton. Burial was in Indianola City Cemetery under the direction of Boone-Card Funeral Home.
She was a native of Mississippi and graduated from Shaw High School. She married Joe Tabb and they made their home in Indianola where they owned and operated Tabb’s Plumbing. After there retirement they moved to West. She was an avid hunter and fisherman.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005, her parents William Henry Commander, Jr. and Alma Adell Commander, sister Sue Bell Holder and brother, Joe D. Commander.
She is survived by a daughter Lea Ann Tabb of West; sister, JoAnn Miller of Duck Hill and a brother, Charles Commander of Shaw.
