Funeral services for Frances Morgan Strickling, 84, of Greenville and formerly of Glen Allan, will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20 at Lake Washington Baptist Church. She died Saturday, August 17 at Washington Care Center in Greenville. Burial will follow in the County Line Cemetery, Glen Allan. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Strickling was born in Holstead, MS and attended high school in Shaw, MS. She became a resident of Glen Allan in 1949 and married Marvin Strickling in 1954. He preceded her in death in June 1998. Mrs. Strickling was a member of Lake Washington Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Wilma Davis Berry of Wayside, MS; and 2 brothers, Joe Davis of Tehachapi, California and Harvey Davis of Hollandale, MS.
A visitation will be held one hour before the funeral services at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Lake Washington Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
