Funeral services for Francine Riddell Wells, 83, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 28 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She died Sunday, November 25 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in the North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Kilmichael, MS. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Francine Riddell Wells of Greenville, MS was born in Drew, MS November 12, 1935 to the late Henry Allen Riddell, and the late Susan Ann Riddell. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted nurse for many years.
Survivors include her husband, William Thomas Wells of 63 years, daughters, Donna Ann (Tony) Roncali of North Carolina and Carolyn (David) Huddleston of Leland, MS, son, William Thomas Wells, Jr. (Tammy) of North Carolina; five brothers: Sonny (Carla) Riddell, Paul (Ellen) Riddell, Pete (Faye) Riddell, Sammy (Kaye) Riddell, Ressie (Jill) Riddell, two sisters, Debbie (Wayne) Knight, Toni (Max) Gianelloni, ten Grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Allen Riddell and Susan Ann Riddell; step-mother, Mary Iris Downs Riddell; and one sister, Dorothy Lorraine Mitchell.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
