Graveside services for Fredna Sue “Corky” Underwood Greenlee, 79, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. She died October 8, 2014 at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson after a short illness. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Mrs. Greenlee was employed with the U. S. Forest Service at Stoneville until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Greenlee, Sr., her parents, Vernon Miller Underwood and Julia Fisher Underwood, a sister, Vashti Underwood Muse and a grandson, Walker Greenlee. She is survived by 3 sons, John Thomas Greenlee, Jr. (Merrill), Frank Greenlee, Sr., (Harriet), and Vernon Greenlee (Sandra); brother, John Underwood (Joy) and a sister, Jean Underwood Ramsey (Jimmy); 6 grandchildren, John Murry Greenlee (Amanda), Warren Greenlee (Jenee’), Amy Greenlee Ingram (John), Ashley Greenlee Franks (Tony), Frank Greenlee, Jr. (Leathe), and Miller Greenlee and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Walker Greenlee Playground Fund, First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1163, Greenville, MS 38702 or to a charity of your choice.
