Grace Miller Carollo, 87, formerly of Leland, MS, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2016, in Huntsville, AL, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her three daughters: Terry (Jack) Powell and Patsy (Robert) Hoffman of Huntsville, AL, and Cindy Peterson of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves behind four granddaughters and two great grandsons who loved and adored her. With her easy and gentle nature, quick wit, and infectious smile, she won the hearts of all who befriended her. Grace had an adventurous spirit and was blessed to travel extensively throughout the United States and overseas. No matter where her adventures took her, she never met a stranger. She will be loved and missed deeply by all. God has truly blessed us and touched our hearts by knowing her. Family will receive friends at the Catholic Youth Center in Leland on Saturday, January 14, from 12:30-1:30. Graveside service will follow at the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery at 2:00. Grace’s family will be at Vince’s Café at 6:00 that night and would love for friends to drop by and join them.
