Funeral services for Henry Clinton Poole, 94, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9 at Trinity United Methodist Church. He died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at The Pinnacle. Burial will be at the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Poole was born in Swifttown, MS where he received his education. He served during World War II and after his discharge he married Grace Fulton. They made their home in Greenville where he was a insurance agent with Allstate Insurance. Mr. Poole later became co manager of the Bessie J. Taylor Home in Greenville. After his retirement he taught AARP Driver Refresher Courses. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by a son, Wayne Everett Poole of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.
