Funeral services for Homer Earl Hall, 65, of Leland will be at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home. He died Sunday, November 13 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born in Cleveland, MS moving to Greenville where he received his education and enlisted in the U. S. Marines. After his discharge he worked as a 1st Mate in the towboat business on the Mississippi River. He later became employed with Broadway Line retiring due to ill health. He was a member of Family Worship Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hall; a sister, Ann Cornelius and a brother, Edward Hall. He is survived by a daughter, Crystal Hall Holdiness of Leland; 3 sisters, Mary A. Woods of Greenville, Deborah Hubbard of Southaven and Agnes Johnson of Greenville; brother, Kelsie Hall of Windfield, AR; grandson, Jaxson Holdiness of Greenville and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
