James Harold King, 77, of Greenville passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. King was born on November 27, 1946 in Oak Grove, LA to Otis and Roxie McTurner King.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter, Harper Wooley.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary R. King; two daughters, Tammy (Steve) Solmon and Karen Newsome King; four grandsons, Joshua Brooks, Wesley Wooley, Grant Rodgers, and Dakota Solmon; and a great-granddaughter, Harper Wooley.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
