James “Jim” Alfred Warner, Jr., 84, of Greenville will be laid to rest in a private family service in Webster County at a later date. Jim passed away of natural causes at Legacy Manor in Greenville, Washington County, Mississippi on the morning of April 7, 2023. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Jim Warner was born August 5th, 1938 in the town of Estill, Washington County, Mississippi to James A. Warner, Sr, and Daisy Thornhill Warner.
Jim grew up around Glen Allen and spent most of his adult life in Greenville where he worked for the county for many years. His later life was enjoyed in Ruleville and his golden years back in Glen Allen. He was an avid hunter and spent many cherished seasons in the hills of Webster County.
Jim was preceded in death by his wives, parents, three sisters, and two children. Jim is survived by one child, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
