Funeral services for James “Jimmy” Steven Brown, Jr., 66, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Hollandale Baptist Church. He died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home. Burial will be in Hollandale Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was a native of Hollandale where he graduated from Hollandale High School. He was employed with Jimmy Sanders Seed for about 20 years in sales retiring in 2013. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Steed Brown of Hollandale; daughter, Ashley B. Jones of Bolton; 2 sisters, Beverly Pierce of Indianola and Gwen Cade of Perry, FL and granddaughter, Mackenzie Jones of Bolton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
