A visitation for James Thomas O’Brien, 73, of Greenville will from 11:00-12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19 at Boone Funeral Home. He died Sunday, December 17 at Delta Regional Medical Center. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born in Greenville where he graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School and then graduated from Delta State University. After graduation he married Betty Johnson making their home in Greenville where he was employed with City Group, retiring in 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Johnson O’Brien; two sons, Tommy O’Brien (Angela) of Pell City, AL and Chris O’Brien (Angie) of Vicksburg; brother, Mike O’Brien (Glynda) of Canton, GA and six grandchildren.
