Graveside Memorial services for James Wesley Smith, 85 of Arcola will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 9 at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. He died Monday, February 4 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He is survived by his wife, Retha Smith of Greenville; four daughters, Tammy Watson of Arcola, Tina Manning (Rex) of Leland, Kim Rutledge (Todd) of Greenville and Pam Handly (Phillip) of Arcola; a son, James “Jimmy” Smith II of Ocean Springs, MS; twelve grandchildren, Brandy McNemar, Wesley Manning, Kristina Manning, Ashton Rutledge, Lauren McIntire, Jamie Dawkins, Randal Rutledge, Holli Parker, Dillon Smith, Bill Handly, Megan Ragsdale and Ryan Handly and eleven great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
